The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship’s South Florida Operations was established in 2009 and serves the community through the Small Business Executive Program, Nonprofit Executive Program, CEO Peer2Peer groups, the Expert Speaker Series, and Small Business Leadership Conference, and Alumni Summit Outreach. Services are available to for-profit and nonprofit businesses and are geared toward CEOs, entrepreneurs, business owners, and presidents of small businesses. A 1995 contribution from Jim and Jan Moran and JM Family Enterprises established the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship at the Florida State University College of Business with additional support through the years. Since 2011, further enhancements to the Jim Moran Institute and its outreach have been made possible by Jan Moran and The Jim Moran Foundation. The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship transitioned into the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship in 2023.
