Anshita Koul (she/they) is an Internationally touring, Berlin based standup comedian from India. She is currently on tour with her English solo hour LITTLE TOO MUCH and has taken the show and parts of it to 28+ cities and counting across Europe, India, UK including Edinburgh Fringe 22, Tallinn Fringe 22, Copenhagen Pride 23 and the backyard of a rich cis-het white man. They are also the co-founder of Clit Comedy Club and Festrogen Comedy Festival in Luxembourg. When she is not touring, she is performing, hosting and producing comedy shows in Berlin under the brand Comedy Bazaar Berlin. Anshita also teaches in-person as well as virtual joke writing workshops. Apart from headlining showcases all over Europe, and bombing at open mics in Berlin, Anshita is trying to expand the already vibrant English comedy scene of Berlin and make it more colourful, non-binary and neurodivergent as a comedy producer.Anshita made her debut in the standup world from the Indian reality TV show Queens of Comedy 2017, which was also available on Netflix from 2017-2019. Most recently, she was seen opening the Funny Women Stage Awards 2022 in the UK, as the only comedian from Europe who made it to the finals. 36, Indian, Queer, Childfree and a standup comedian by profession, Anshita is a poster child for everything patriarchy hates, but don't worry kids, she hates it back way more, you have no idea!Anshita is an independent artist trying to earn their livelihood through comedy without an agent and therefore she needs her audiences to come watch more real and not reel live comedy shows. If you appreciate Anshita's work, you can support her by buying tickets, or buying her a coffee or become a post card pal on Patreon.Website|Instagram|Facebook|Youtube|Patreon|Buy me a coffee/chai/dônerPress mention LeipzigPress mention Brussels
