The story of KAMA AYURVEDA began in Kerala, the birthplace of Ayurveda, when Vivek Sahni rediscovered medicinal recipes in Vedic books dating back more than 5000 years. With guidance from an Ayurvedic guru, Vivek became a beacon of this ancestral wisdom and set out on a pioneering mission to share these ancient wellbeing practices and medicinal remedies with the modern world.In 2002, Vivek founded KAMA AYURVEDA with the goal of creating skin care and hair care products made from these ancestral formulations, based on the holistic philosophy at the heart of Ayurveda.
