Safe International Milwaukee Self Defense is a violence prevention company located in Downtown Menomonee Falls, WI. We hold public and private workshops at our location. We have workshops for the general public to attend, or you can plan your own private group at our location or yours. We focus heavily on awareness/avoidance, then verbal and physical strategies. This is not a martial art course or a style of fighting. It's strictly pure and applied self-defense. Fun and easy to learn!All workshops will include at least 40 mins of awareness talk. Topics include the following: What self-defense is and isn't - What an attacker wants and doesn't want from you - The power of the word NO and understanding boundaries - Situational awareness - Enviromental awareness - behavioral awareness- common attacks - elevator safety- home safety- travel safety- road rage- being followed- social and anti social violence- human trafficking- bullying- intuition - car safety - walking with confidence- how being too polite can be dangerous, domestic violence- prober mindset, plus more!!Verbal Strategies: You will learn how to diffuse a situation with hopes things don't go physical. Learn what to say and not say during conflict.Physical Strategies: NO TECHNIQUES, no fancy John Wick moves to memorize, no complex motor skills. When it comes to the physical strategies you will learn simple gross motor skills using your own tools. The goal is to stop someone from hurting you so you can get home to your loved ones.Bill Stedman works as a career Firefighter/Paramedic with over 27 years of service in Waukesha County. Bill have been involved in self-defense since the age of 4 when his mom signed him up for lessons so he can defend himself against his older brother(lol). He has numerous decades of training in self-defense and also martial arts. Bill is a certified instructor for Safe International Self Defense for 11 years, our main headquarters is located Canada.
