The Lexington Area Tennis Association (LATA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists solely to promote the physical, social and health benefits of the game of tennis to all residents of Lexington County through the promotion of tennis as the game of a lifetime.To that end, LATA will be characterized by a committed board of directors who are actively engaged in the association, quality programs for youth and adults that will provide introductory and on-going tennis programs and instruction, and outstanding recreational tennis opportunities through league play for all levels of individual ability.The Lexington Area Tennis Association welcomes all people who play, watch, support or enjoy the game of tennis into our facilities, events, tournaments, programs, membership and leadership and will not discriminate against any person on the basis of age, sex, race, ethnicity, creed, sexual orientation, physical condition or national origin. We recognize diversity is essential to achieving our mission (and that of the USTA), "To Promote and Develop the Growth of Tennis".
