Running Revolution Ayiti—We didn’t come this far only to come this far.The Running Revolution club was founded by two Haitian friends, one living in Haiti and the other away at college in the United States. While studying to become an engineer, Wisly discovered this weird sport he’d never considered: running. It turned out he was pretty good at it. Wisly suggested his childhood friend Albert give running a try as well. It turned out Albert was pretty good at it, too. The two men discovered that running was a way to stay connected and inspire each other to do bigger and better things. They wanted to share this new outlet with others and create a running culture and community in their village outside Port-au-Prince. The club aims to empower members to chase their dreams one step at a time through running and physical fitness. Membership is open to men and women of all ages and abilities. The bonds forged through many sweaty miles generate hope amid constant struggle and a collective strength strong enough to topple any obstacle
