Promoters of HarmonyMuslims for Peace is an organization that aims to bridge people from different religious and ethnic backgrounds through interfaith activities, like presentations, seminars, and discussions. We believe that educating each other about our differences is the best way to interconnect people, increase tolerance towards each other, and facilitate the peacemaking process all over the world. We spread the message that Islam stands for non-violence and developing a better understanding of Islam among all the people of the world, Muslim and non-MuslimMuslims for Peace has a mission to transcend boundaries of faith and unite every community on the basis of education. Educating one man is dispelling ignorance from an entire generation.Between people of all faiths to better understand one another. This organization believes that educating each other about our differences is the best way to interconnect people, and increase their tolerance towards one another, they plan to facilitate the peacemaking process all over the world especially in the south Asian sub-continent, and hope to spread the message that Islam stands for non-violence. MFP aims to facilitate a better understanding of Islam among all the people of the world, Muslim and non-Muslims alike, through publications of non violence literature and the promotion education. Connecting with the contemporary shift from an exclusively academic focus towards a more balanced and broader approach to education, with an emphasis on both academic and emotional literacy, Muslims for Peace believes that an educated mind-set prevents extremism.Our organization also provides charitable support to the needy such as organizing food drives and soup kitchens, providing assistance to disaster victims such as from hurricane Sandy and other related opportunities to help people live safer, healthier and inclusive lives.
