As one of the oldest secular communities in the UK, we endeavour to create a space that enables people to integrate both learning and teaching, and to find and develop their full potential in all aspects – intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual. We strive to understand more fully our relationships with each other and with nature and society so that we can co-operate in taking constructive action in the world today.We aim to show the world that a group of unlike and unrelated individuals can come together, without religious underpinnings nor commercialistic goals, to create something that the world desperately needs: an environment that is, for some, more therapeutic than treatment centres, more sustainable than green politics, more rewarding than a simple holiday, more magical than religion, and more educational than universities.
