As an organization, we at Assuage HER are dedicated to providing mental health support for women in Summit County through creative activities and crafting classes. Our founder, J. Travis, is an artist who is passionate about promoting mental health awareness in the community.Our program offers a safe space for women to unite and find peace in creating crafts and learning new skills. Our ultimate goal is to significantly impact the mental health and well-being of women in Akron and Summit County, with a particular focus on women of color.We are committed to partnering with local organizations and small businesses to host art classes in their facilities, as we believe that being in the communities we serve is essential to achieving our mission.
