Making Medicinal Tea Blends Workshop - 2024

This is an interactive 2-hour workshop that includes herbs shipped to students within the US. You can participate from anywhere you have an internet connection! You do NOT need to be in our area to take this workshop!

One of the simplest forms of creating herbal medicine is making tea infusions.  In a matter of minutes, fragrant tea leaves, aromatic flowers and woodsy herbs can be combined and steeped  into warm water to create infusions for health and vitality.

This workshop opens the door to the art of mixing medicinal herbs with fragrant plants and rich flavors – showing you how to make blends that anyone will love to drink!

Students will work with a wide botanical palette that will be filled with deeply fragrant blossoms, delicate spices, brightly dried fruits and smoky roots, berries and medicinal plants.  

The workshop will cover :

• How to create flavor profiles and combinations
• Different types of tea leaves and how to weave them into your formulas
• How to mix bitter herbs into pleasing formulas
• Thinking outside the box: using spices, flowers, roots and fruits in your tea!
• Making blends that are powerful medicinal formulas

What We Send You: We send out a box prior to the workshop with ethically wildcrafted herbs and materials you will need for making several medicinal tea blends. International shipping is not available for this workshop. International students wishing to participate can request a list of herbs we are sending out to source locally.

You will need: All preparations we make in this workshop are designed to be made in the home kitchen. Students will need basic kitchen gear like an oven/heat source, spoons, bowls, storage for preparations, baking supplies, etc. A list of exact materials will go out prior to the live class for students who want to make their creations during the session!

*Attendance to the live class is optional, as is making any of the preparations during class. Class will be recorded for students to view later.

WORKSHOP INFORMATION

Date: November 7th, 2024. oThe live class is scheduled for 7pm central time. The session will be recorded and uploaded for review and download!

Registration is open until October 28th, 2024 to allow enough time for class materials to ship to students within the US.

The online classroom will close 30 days after the workshop date - December 9th, 2024. Extensions are available for an admin fee. You can find the correlating admin fees on our Tuition Policy page.

All class materials will be available for download.

International Shipping: International shipping is unavailable for this course. Students outside of the US can contact us for a list of materials to source locally.
