The Americas Foundation supports binational community development and arts education programs at the US/Mexico Border. The La Esperanza schools of Tijuana (Colegio and Jardin de Ninos La Esperanza were foundation and are supported by The Americas Foundation as well as a free music, dance and volleyball program, "More Art =Less Violence" for teens ages 12 to 17. The Americas Foundation also sponsors monthly Saturday volunteer days to build and maintain the La Esperanza schools and help the border community. Typically a volunteer day involves creating abstract, rustic wall mosaics.
