Introduction

Do you produce an excessive amount of food waste as a food or drink producer?

Are you wondering if it's possible to turn this trash into a profit? Putting your new product development skills to the test while also benefiting the environment!

Food waste has been increasing for several years. Food and food shortages have been on most people's minds in recent years, especially with the rising cost of raw materials. While Food banks are a wonderful idea, they cannot absorb all surpluses; thus, this is something we can all work on, both at home and in business.

Now is the time to put your ideas into action and start addressing them.

Your trainer Zoe Plant, New Product Development & Innovation Manager. Zoe is a creative, development chef who gives companies access to development support and knowledge that they may not otherwise have access to. Working at The Food and Drink Forum for over 3 years, at The Food WorksSW site, Zoe has been given a fantastic opportunity to put her knowledge of the food sector to use by assisting small businesses (SMEs) at the grassroots level with scaling up while also covering other areas such as food labelling, product costing, and food trends.

Booking Information - In-Person and Virtual Attendance

Workshops will be run as in-person events from our food parks, with full details provided above. This will provide you with an opportunity to meet like-minded people and meet our Technical Team in person.

However, if you would prefer to join virtually, please book a virtual attendance ticket so we can ensure you receive the MS Teams link in your booking confirmation.
