The Community Family Life & Recreation Center at Lyon Park, revitalized by the West End Community Foundation, Inc., is a historic center in Durham, NC, originally serving as a school for African-American children in the West End neighborhood. Today, the center offers modern facilities including a gym, auditorium, computer lab, and meeting rooms. We host a variety of community-focused events, such as educational programs, summer camps, and health clinics, aiming to support and uplift the community. Our mission is to foster a supportive, inclusive environment where residents can engage, connect, and access valuable resources.
