Mission Be is not-for-profit that scaled nationally, implementing mindfulness-based social emotional learning programs in schools and communities. Since 2013, Mission Be has brought our mindful education program to a total of 322+ schools, trained thousands of teachers and reached over 339,000 children in 28 states and 11 nations.Our program is aligned with Next Generation Standards, The NYS Standards for Social Emotional Learning (SEL), the NYS Standard for Mental Health, The Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).Mission Be’s curriculum is rooted in neuroscience and designed to create positive learning environments, decrease student stress, increase student focus, decrease bullying while creating a school-wide culture of compassion.
