Itinerary

Day01: GENEVA

Description:

The blissful and romantic tour of Mont Blanc begins with the arrival at Geneva. Meet and greet the group members after checking into the hotel. Today is a free day to explore on your own, our tour leader will accompany you though. Explore the top tourist attractions of Geneva. Marvel at the beautiful Jet d’Eau fountain, and then check out the monumental wooden sculpture, the Broken Chair. Proceed to take tours of Old Town Geneva, Lake Geneva, Cathedral, and Palace of Nations in Geneva. Sample the delicious Swiss chocolate and Swiss cheese at the local restaurants too. Spend the night at the hotel in Geneva.

Day02 : CHAMONIX VALLEY

Description:

Board the shuttle cab after breakfast to reach Chamonix in Mont Blanc, the beautiful resort at the junction of Switzerland, Italy, and France. Chamonix valley is at the base of Mont Blanc, the highest summit in the Alps, it’s renowned for its skiing. Free time to explore the little town, consider taking a ride in the scenic cable car in the Alpine peaks with breathtaking views of the Aiguille du Midi, glacial fields at the Italian Border, and Pointe Helbronner. You will find all hiking gears in town if you missed out on any gear.

Day03 (MONT BLANC: LE TOUR – TRIENT)

Description:

Today the hiking adventure begins from the village of Le Tour. You will meet the local hiking guide and embark on the 6-day marvelous hike. Follow the picturesque mountainous path of Balme after departing from Le Tour Village to reach Switzerland. Fill your memory card with photos of Mont Blanc, Needles of Chamonix, the Drus, and la Verte during the tour. Cross the Switzerland and France border to reach the Trient village.

Day04 : TRIENT – CHAMPEX

Description:

You can follow either of the two routes from Trient to Champex. The first route is along the Mountain Of Bovine, which requires you to cross the Farclaz Pass of marvelous views of the lake. You can take the Fenetre d’Arpette route, which resembles Tour du Mont Blanc and is challenging too. Marvel at the Rhone Valley of the Balconies above the Martigny.

Day05 : CHAMPEX – COURMAYEUR

Description:

Take the bus ride to Fouly and then climb to the summit Vol Ferret through the quaint villages of Clou, Ferret, and Granges. Admire the lush green pastures of the Peulaz Mountain and then climb again in the picturesque Ferret Pass to the head of the Dolent and Ferret Border. Drink in the breathtaking views of the mountain meadows and the glaciers of Triolet and Bar pastures during the descent. Spend the night at the bustling village of Courmayeur.

Day06 : COURMAYEUR – LES CHAPIEUX

Description:

Catch the bus to Val Veni and then take a long and idyllic walk along the ancient fortifications of Alpini and the magnificent limestone pyramids to get to Col de Seigne. Marvel at the glittering Aiguille des Glaciers and take a stroll in the mountain pastures of Le Beaufort.

Day07 : LES CHAPIEUX – LES CONTAMINES

Description:

This morning will find you feasting your eyes on the picturesque peaks of Vanoise from atop the Col de la Croix du Bonhomme. Continue down the trail to Col du Bonhomme until you cross the Contamines Natural Reserve. Descend along the gorge of pine forests to reach the Notre Dame de la Gorge church at the old Roman Road. Stop at the area of the marmots before continuing with the walk.

Day08 : LES CONTAMINES – LES HOUCHES

Description:

Follow the trail along the picturesque river valley to reach La Gruvas and making the way to Le Champel before braving the steep hike up along the Bionnassay to Col de Vaza. You can also take the longer route that requires hiking at Col du Tricot, at 2120m above sea level. Soak in the panoramic views of the pistes and limestone cliffs from atop the Col du Tricot. Descend along the tracks and gravel roads to get to Les Houches, where the hike finally ends. Drive back to Geneva in the evening. There are no activities planned in Geneva, so you can either stay at the hotel or explore the nightlight in Geneva.

Day09 : GENEVA

Description:

It’s time to say goodbye to your fellow travelers as the tour ends today with a breakfast at the hotel. Check out is usually by 11am so book your return flight accordingly. Hoping that you have captured the best moments on camera and packed in a host of travel memories to carry back home with you.

Payment Instructions :

1. You should login from a PC to see the 'Pay Now' button, after RSVPing. Then hit the button.

2. Verify correct dollar amount for number of people you're paying for.

3. If you don't have a Paypal account, click "Pay with a Debit or Credit Card".

4. If you have a Paypal account, simply log in, and pay as you normally would via Paypal.

Refund and Ticket Resell Policy

All sales are final. We only refund the full amount, if the event is canceled. If it is rescheduled, we will send an email to ticket holders advising that. A full refund will be given to those that let us know within 2 calendar days of the update email, if you are unable to make it on the new date. No refunds will be given after that time.

However, you can sell your ticket to someone else if you are unable to attend. Please, feel free to post in the comment box for the event, that you have a ticket for sale. Work out payment between yourselves, and have the seller only send the organizer a message letting us know the full name of the person taking your spot. You must let us know two hours before the RSVP close time, on the day of the event.
