Weymouth Heritage Centre was set up to serve visitors and the communities of Weymouth, Melcombe Regis and Portland and supply education and information on the borough’s ‘Historical Heritage’.We provide educational support to schools and raise and enhance the awareness amongst the local community and visitors to the borough of it’s Heritage, and educate visitors and support their interests and enhancing their knowledge, through the provision of a ‘Heritage Centre’ website, a data base, publications, talks, audio-visual shows, guided tours, workshops, and exhibitions.The Weymouth Heritage Centre has been operating local walking tours in the town for a number of years. Our website shows the range of different tours by subject, from our popular “Weymouth Timewalk Tour” to our fun filled “Haunted Harbour Tour”.
