One of her greatest passions is helping women find success and balance in their leadership. She is a regular contributor to Dance Business Weekly and Dance Teacher Magazine. She is the proud daughter of Lynore Tillim. Lynore got into MIT and Harvard and despite being told she needed to find a husband locally in Buffalo, NY, she persevered and got her MBA at NYU in the 60s. She broke glass ceilings as one of the first females in upper management at Ma Bell in Manhattan. Long before women could wear pants to work or open their own bank account, she marched for the ERA and inspired Alana to never underestimate the power and grit of a woman. She broke the cycle of her past while building a strong future for her daughter. She is one of the many inspirations for I am Her. She is Me.
