The role of the MPG is to provide opportunities for Victorian PhD students and early career researchers working in protein science to present their work orally and as posters in a conference-style setting and at other less formal settings. A key function of the MPG is to continue the organization of the highly successful annual meeting for PhD students, which enables networking opportunities and mentorship. The MPG also organizes and facilitates other forums and events designed more specifically for postdocs and other interested early career researchers to meet, network and present their research. The MPG Committee are:Pierre Scotney,President(CSL Limited)Michael Griffin,Treasurer (Bio21 / University of Melbourne)Sarah Atkinson(Monash University)Urmi Dhagat(Walter and Eliza Hall Instituteof Medical Research)Chris Langendorf(St Vincents Institute of Medical Research)Mihwa Lee(La Trobe University)Emma Petrie(Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research)DanielScott(Howard Florey Institute / University of Melbourne)David Thal(Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences)
