My name is Juan Mobley and I am the Program Coordinator for Channeled Paths Couseling Center. In my role as program coordinator, I am heavily involved in Community engagement and fundraising. I am especially passionate about raising funds for our Pathmakers Program. Our organization recognizes the disparity of insurability as well as the inability to pay for services among our clients and people within the community. With that in mind we created Pathmakers. The purpose of our Pathmakers program is to close the gap in providing accessibility to mental health services for those who would not otherwise be able to seek treatment, specifically our youth. Qualifying clients can receive services through this program at no cost or at a reduced cost according to their insurability status. The clients that we serve will participate in programs that will help them to build their self-esteem, learn skills in conflict resolution and communication and other life-affirming practices.
