Duo Dogs, Inc., is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in St. Louis, Missouri. Duo trains and connects dogs with people to cultivate positive change in individuals, families, and communities. Accredited by Assistance Dogs International (ADI), and in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Duo opens the doors to independence by providing Assistance Dogs to individuals with physical and hearing challenges, PTSD Dogs to local Veterans and Facility Dogs to organizations working with vulnerable populations. Duo places all Assistance, PTSD and Facility Dogs at no cost to the client.Duo is also recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) as a therapy dog training and certification organization, providing comfort to patients, residents, and families through the Duo Touch Therapy program.Duo offers positive reinforcement-based obedience classes to the public and provides on and off-site volunteer opportunities for corporations and individuals throughout the community.
