With two regional stations and two Krishi Vigyan Kendras, ICAR-IIHR focuses on innovative research in fruits, vegetables, ornamental crops, medicinal plants, and mushrooms. Our state-of-the-art facilities and expert staff drive breakthroughs in crop breeding, integrated pest management, sustainable production technologies, and post-harvest practices.Recognized nationally and internationally, ICAR-IIHR has been awarded the Best Institute by the ICAR in 1999 and 2011, and ranked first among ICAR institutes during 2019-20 and 2020-21.
