The Wildflower Seeds Initiative is maintained by Samuel LeGresley (also a Ranger with the Butterflyway Project) with the aim of increasing the local distribution of seeds adapted to the environment in which they grow. These plants are all native and cultivar-free as much as possible, to increase the pollinator and bird population for a healthier future.Originally from New Brunswick, Samuel has established a Wildflower Seed Library in the three cities of Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview from winter 2024-2025 onward. In 2025, the guide called Sharing our Nature (Partager notre nature) will also be published, to guide new seed librarians in the creation of Wildflower Seed Libraries across Canada. Thanks to Nature Canada for the funding!
