The NatureTrack Foundation is committed to fostering a lifelong fascination with nature for everyone. To achieve this, NatureTrack offers cost-free K-12 field trips for schools in Santa Barbara County, helping students connect with the natural world. The foundation is also working to make beaches and trails more accessible to individuals with mobility challenges. By using the Freedom Trax mobility device, which transforms a manual wheelchair into an all-terrain vehicle, NatureTrack enables people to explore a variety of terrains, including sand, gravel, grass, and snow. In addition, NatureTrack organizes group events for residents of assisted living homes, support groups, and hosts monthly beach outings where the Freedom Trax are available for use.
