Sid Jacobson is the founder and current director of two companies specializing in global training and consulting services. With a career spanning over four decades, Sid has worked with organizations, individuals, and other consulting and training firms across the world. A key aspect of his work involves training both trainers and consultants, alongside a broad range of other professional activities.In addition to extensive work in the United States and Canada, Sid has delivered services in the UK, Singapore, Malaysia, China, and Romania. Within the U.S., he has partnered with numerous small businesses and organizations, as well as major corporations such as Jackson National Life Insurance, DuPont Pharmaceuticals, Habitat for Humanity, Shell, ConocoPhillips, Case New Holland, and Intel. Internationally, he collaborated with Maersk Sealand partners in eight countries, offering high-level training and consulting expertise.Singapore has been a focal point of his international work for over 25 years. There, Sid has delivered a wide array of in-house NLP training programs and consulting services for leading regional and global organizations, including Singapore Airlines, Western Digital, Applied Materials, SAP, Singapore Technologies, Yokogawa Electric, National Computer Systems, The National University of Singapore, and SingHealth. His work also extends to numerous government agencies, schools, banks, hospitals, and social service institutions.Sid is the author of five books on education and business, and the co-author of a book on writing. He has also published numerous articles and papers on topics related to his fields of expertise.Originally trained as a psychotherapist, Sid holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Professional School of Psychological Studies and a Master’s in Social Work from Tulane University, where he also earned his undergraduate degree in psychology. In 1977, he encountered the then-emerging field of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and quickly became a pioneer in applying its techniques to education, training, writing, and psychotherapy. Since then, he has worked as a researcher, trainer, and consultant to professionals across sectors including healthcare, education, business, government, and professional sports.
