Our mission is to provide services that take into consideration a family's needs from conception through the infancy of their child. Our center focuses on providing client advocacy, education (pregnancy, parenting, positive alternatives to abortion, body literacy) local agency referrals/resources, material assistance, bereavement/post-abortion support, assistance services (employment, education, financial, housing, transportation), domestic violence support, self-administered pregnancy tests as well as support for men.The Aurora Resource Center's vision remains the same. We strive to increase the number of abortion vulnerable clients coming to the center, as well as, to continue to add services known to increase choices for life. Our staff are committed to continuing to show by words and actions the love of Jesus to all who come through our doors and to offer help, support, and hope to those seeking service.As an organization rooted in the Christian faith with deep respect for teachings morals, we uphold the foundational principles of our shared faith tradition.The Aurora Resource Center serves women, men, and families of any age or income who reside in any of our six counties served in Northwestern Minnesota (Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, Kittson, Marshall, & Roseau County).Our services are free and confidential.
