Dawn’s journey is a powerful testament to resilience, self-discovery, and the pursuit of purpose. Born and raised in West London to a British-born Jamaican father and a British mother, she grew up steeped in the esoteric teachings of her psychic mother, which sparked a lifelong quest for deeper understanding. At 35, dissatisfied with her corporate career, Dawn made the bold decision to leave it all behind and travel solo across South America. The transformative experience marked a turning point in her life, one she remains proud of and grateful for. After briefly returning to the corporate world, the birth of her first son at 39 brought a new clarity and sense of purpose. Facing challenges in balancing work and motherhood, she left her job and channeled her creativity into photography, launching her business, @lovemiss_d photography. Her spiritual evolution continued, and after a decade of yoga practice, she became a certified 300-hour YAP yoga teacher. By the time she welcomed her second son, she had fully embraced her passion for guiding others on their wellness journeys. However, life threw her another challenge: becoming a single mother with a newborn during the COVID pandemic. This period tested her limits but ultimately revealed an inner strength she hadn’t known before. Now, three years later, Dawn juggles life as a single mother and a self-employed yoga teacher. She runs weekly yoga classes and monthly women’s circles through her platform, @willowandwild_yoga where she creates safe, nurturing spaces for women to reconnect with themselves and others on a deeper level.Guided by her own experiences of loneliness, reinvention, and self-discovery, Dawn is deeply committed to supporting other women as they navigate their journeys. She is passionate about creating space for women to understand themselves on a deeper level to step into their power. Her story is a beautiful reminder that even in moments of unraveling, there is an opportunity to rediscover and rebuild a more authentic version of ourselves.
