The WIN Workforce Development Program (WDP) seeks to address the economic hardships faced by individuals by providing comprehensive job training and placement assistance. This supports economically challenged individuals, including those with mental health diagnoses, intellectual disabilities, individuals dealing with substance abuse or in early recovery, and those at risk of homelessness.The program's goal is to provide job training and placement assistance to economically challenged individuals, empowering them to secure sustainable employment. The objectives include:Providing participants with education, training, and job-preparedness.Connecting participants with appropriate job opportunities.Developing opportunities for ongoing support and financial stability.Providing access to technology and services in a safe and professional environment.Offering access to appropriate professional clothing, shoes, accessories, and job-appropriate items.Facilitating reintegration into the workforce through socialization.WIN Resource CenterThe Heart of WIN, our onsite facility will house all things WIN:A location dedicated to providing affordable, appropriate professional clothing for men & women in need.A location dedicated to the ongoing personal & professional development of those we serve through mentorship and education.A location dedicated to providing a safe place to utilize technology and services to STEP UP & STEP AHEAD in their professional lives.A location dedicated to the community to use our conference room for business meetings and small events to raise the awareness of the good work of WIN, GIN and WIN-Spirations.Westmoreland County:WIN Workforce Development Center, 239 Tollgate Hill Road, Greensburg, PA 15601Allegheny County: WIN Resource Center, 228 W. 7th Av., Tarentum, PA 15084All professional clothing for men, women and young adults are located in the WIN Resource Center
