The Association exists to promote the philosophy and principles of palliative care through networking, public and professional education, advocacy and research.The Healing Pathways Community Funding Program is supported by a two-year funding commitment from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) and the government of Nova Scotia. NSHPCA distributes funding to groups and organizations through Healing Pathways to develop community-based initiatives that align with the Nova Scotia Community Grief and Emotional Wellness Hub Model.
