The Texas Legislature created theVeterans Land Board (VLB)as part of theTexas General Land Office (GLO)in 1946 to help Veterans returning to Texas after World War II to buy land. The VLB has expanded over the years to offer additional loan programs and services to Veterans and Military Members.The mission of the VLB is to ensure that we offer the very best package of Veterans benefits in the country and those of us who work for the VLB strive to meet those goals every day.
