Claire Baum started yoga as an activity as a teenager but quickly realized that it improved her dancing and gave her access to her body outside the competitive environment of the dance world. Even as a young yogi, she noticed that yoga is a practice accessible to all body types and ages. This insight remains as the basis of her practice and her teaching to this day. She hopes that as a teacher, she can show her students how yoga can help them have greater awareness to and understanding of their bodies and minds through asana and pranayama.Claire Baum is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS), the completion of 2 years & 1000+ hours of teaching.
