The Kwanzaa Celebration is free, but everyone must have a paid ticket to attend the Kwanzaa Karamu. A Kwanzaa Karamu is a communal feast that is usually celebrated at the end of Kwanzaa.

Please Don't Die Black Men (PDDBM) is a non-profit organization rooted in equity, uplifting and inspiring African American/Black communities across America. This organization works to ensure equity for African Americans/Blacks by advocating for equal access to resources, quality education, and opportunities for employment and economic advancement.Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly."Please Don't Die Black Men (PDDBM) provides and promotes equity in Clark County by executing and carrying out educational opportunities including diversity and inclusion training, hosting cultural events that empower and uplift African Americans especially children of color, offering various charitable scholarships to African Americans with an emphasis on children of color for STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) programs and opportunities, and promotes and creates games that educate our community and align with our mission statement.
