O Pecha Kucha (PK) é um movimento internacional iniciado no Japão, presente em mais de 900 cidades, que celebra e partilha o talento, a criatividade e o empreendedorismo sustentável. Em cada edição, 8 oradores divulgam e dão a conhecer ao público PK os seus projetos, iniciativas, manifestos ou negócios nas mais diversas áreas de intervenção artística, cultural ou social, em apresentações de 6 minutos e 40 segundos (20 slides de 20 segundos).(EN)PechaKucha ペチャクチャ , or “chit chat” in Japanese, is a concise presentation style, comprised of twenty slides at a duration of twenty seconds each that advance automatically. This format, devised by Tokyo-based KleinDytham Architecture, powers multi-speaker events called PechaKucha Nights. PKNs invite creatives of all fields to meet, present projects, and exchange ideas in 900+ cities around the world. PechaKucha has a global reputation for an eclectic mix of artists, activists, musicians, comedians, designers, architects, filmmakers, photographers, writers, mountaineers, et al coming together to make their patented PechaKucha presentation in front of an attentive audience.
