Hi, I’m Steve Jones—a permaculture teacher, community gardener, and co-operative pioneer with a lifelong passion for sustainability and regenerative design. Growing up on a Shropshire farm, I developed a deep connection to the land, which led me to study sustainable development, ecology, and economics. After training as a teacher, I discovered permaculture design as a transformative methodology, and it has been my life’s work ever since. For most of my adult life, I’ve been immersed in permaculture, teaching and practicing its principles and ethics across the UK and beyond. Based in Wales since 1994, I’ve worked extensively with farmers, communities, and even refugees in East Africa, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to my work. Currently, I’m developing new format courses in partnership with Treflach Farm near Oswestry and Eunant Farm in the breathtaking Berwyn Mountains above Lake Vyrnwy. My courses are designed to guide you through the principles, ethics, and practical applications of permaculture, drawing on decades of hands-on experience. Whether you’re new to permaculture or looking to deepen your practice, I’ll help you explore how to create resilient, sustainable systems that benefit both people and the planet.Join me for an immersive learning experience that connects you to the land, to community, and to the transformative power of permaculture. Let’s grow a better future together!### Optional Additions:- Winner of Permaculture Magazine international prize 2021- Stunning locations in the Welsh brders region- Collaborative, practical, courses drawn from many years of experience to bring alive the permaculture theory.
