Day01 : PUERTO MALDONADO

Description:

Arrive at padre Aldamiz International Airport of Puerto Maldonado and get transfer to the hotel. Today its a free day to explore the small town at your leisure.

Day02 : TAMBOPATA RESERVE

Description:

The grand tour of Peru begins with the arrival at padre Aldamiz International Airport of Puerto Maldonado before noon. The tour guide will greet you and introduce you to the rest of the members of the group before transferring you to the cozy lodge. The trip along the banks of the Tambopata River will bless you with glimpses of exotic birds, and turtles, alligators, and capybaras. Freshen up at the lodge upon arrival and take some rest. Set out on a night walk to check out the nocturnal life of the Amazon Jungle. Have a sumptuous dinner at the lodge and sleep soundly at night.

Day03 : MACAW CLAY LICK

Description:

Make your way to the Malinowski River. Take note of the dramatic environmental changes and marvel at the picturesque islands of flooded forests and vast pebble beaches. Get close to the Orinoco geese, capybaras, cormorants, and alligators. Visit the Macaw Clay Lick Chuncho to take a look at the vibrant medley of colorful parrots and macaws. Set out on an idyllic navigation tour of the Madre de Dios River to Reserve Tambopata National. Take a walking tour along the forest trails to Lake Sandoval and set out on another boat tour from Maloka Lodge to observe the exotic ecosystems of the Amazon.

Day04 : LAKE SANDOVAL

Description:

Have an early breakfast at daybreak, and then embark on the grand boat tour to check out the cute otters at Lake Sandoval. Take photographs of the giant otters but don’t get too close to them, as some of them are quite scared of humans. Capture the scarlet macaws, colorful butterflies, and vibrant Maracanas on camera too. Admire the ancient trees like Shihuahuacos, kapok, and renacos which are the emerging trees of the forest which are home to all kinds of mammals this blanket of trees during a walking tour of the lush green jungle and take in the view of the sunlit oasis of the lake on the way back to the Sandoval Lake Reserve lodge.

Day05 : PUERTO MALDONADO - CUSCO

Description:

Peru tour continues…

Restore your energies with a hearty breakfast and return to Puerto Maldonado to catch the flight to Cusco. Receive a warm welcome by the tour representative who will duly transfer you to the hotel. Attend a short meeting about the day’s tours and then take a few hours of rest before setting out on the exploration of the splendid Cusco City. Savor the blend of Spanish and Andean cultures of Cusco. Visit the Santo Domingo Convent and admire the architectural intricacy of the ancient Palace Of The Incas. Evening free to explore the plaza. Dine on the exquisite Peruvian cuisine at the restaurants of Plaza de Armas or Main Square.

Day06 : SACRED VALLEY

Description:

Set out on the tour to the Sacred Valley Of The Incas via the Pisac Route. Stop at the famous Ccochahuasi Animal Sanctuary to check out the exotic animals such as the Candor, Alpaca, Puma, and Llama. Halt again at the Mirador Of Taray to catch a glimpse of the sun-soaked Urubamba Valley. Drive on to the Pisac archaeological site of the largest Inca cemetery of over 2000 tombstones. Check out the massive bowl of terraces at Moray archaeological site, travel to the Maras colonial town, and finally drive on to Ollantaytambo, the location of the sprawling Inca villages, before taking the Expedition train to Aguas Calientes by 7pm.

Day07 : MACHU PICCHU

Description:

Board the 5:30 am bus to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu and take your time to examine every inch of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Climb the flight of intricately carved steps to the spiritual center of esoteric wisdom, and take your time to explore the area on your own after the guided tour ends. Climb the Huayna Picchu Mountain to admire the Temple Of The Moon and do a spot of trekking to Machu Picchu Inca Citadel. Board the famous Vistadome train after lunch to return to Cusco. Don’t forget to shop at the bustling handicraft market of Aguas Calientes.

Day08: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

Description:

Embark on the fascinating Rainbow Mountain Trek Adventure from the hotel at four in the morning. Drive through the picturesque South Valley and take note of the intricately carved Inca terraces, rocky mountains, and valleys on the way. Hike across the bubbling stream to encounter herds of llamas and alpacas. Admire the view of the Ausangate Mountain and hike for about 4-5 hours to reach the fabulous and colorful Rainbow Mountain (5,020m /16,466ft). Take pictures of the picturesque mountain and descend the mountain in a couple of hours. Drive back to Cusco and get a good rest at the hotel.

Day09 : SKYLODGE ADVENTURE

Description:

The Amazon Peru tour ends this day. You will be transferred to the airport as per your flight departure time. But wait, don’t miss out on the exhilarating Skylodge Adventure if your bubbling over with energy!

The tour begins in the afternoon from Cusco, your tour rep will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the starting point of the climb passing by the famous Sacred Valley of the Incas. Climb the Via Ferrata to explore the wonders atop. Have dinner at night in the glass capsule and spend a night stargazing while hanging on the cliff and then go ziplining to the base the next day. The Skylodge Adventure will prove to be one of the most fun-filled and exciting trips of the Peru Tour.

Day10 : CUSCO

Description:

Breakfast on delicious Peruvian delicacies at seven in the morning followed by ziplining to the starting point. Arrive at Cusco City at around two in the afternoon. It’s time to say goodbye to your fellow travelers and the guide as the tour ends today. Hoping that you have captured the best moments on camera and packed in a host of travel memories to carry back home with you.

Refund and Ticket Resell Policy

All sales are final. We only refund the full amount, if the event is canceled. If it is rescheduled, we will send an email to those who RSVPed 'YES' advising that. A full refund will be given to those that let us know within 2 calendar days of the update email, if you are unable to make it on the new date. No refunds will be given after that time.

However, you can sell your ticket to someone else if you are unable to attend. Please, feel free to post in the comment box for the event, that you have a ticket for sale. Work out payment between yourselves, and have the seller only send the organizer a message letting us know the full name of the person taking your spot. You must let us know two hours before the RSVP close time, on the day of the event.
