In 1990 a group of twenty Dublin business leaders worked together to charter Dublin AM Rotary. As a Rotary International club, Dublin AM Rotary’s main objective is service - in our own community, in the workplace and around the globe. The club has grown to over 120 members, all committed to improving the lives of people through volunteerism and support of projects in Dublin, the United States and the world.Dublin AM club members are actively engaged in community service throughout Central Ohio. Our projects are as diverse as our members. Each initiative the club takes on is driven by the passion and sense of service of members who serve as advocates within our club and our greater community. Both Dublin AM Rotary and Rotary International focus funding and service on six areas critical to improving the lives of families:Basic education and literacyMaternal and child healthWater and sanitationDisease prevention and treatmentPeace and conflict prevention and resolutionFrom ringing red kettle bells for The Salvation Army to provide funds for Welcome Warehouse, funding fresh water wells in the Phillippines to fitting prosthetic hands in Rwanda, Dublin AM members serve to help families build better lives. In 1997 the club created the Dublin AM Charitable Foundation. The Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization serves as the recipient of funds raised through events and donations. Funds are maintained at The Columbus Foundation. Funds for these life changing projects are raised through DublinAM Rotary Community fundraisers and contributions from individuals and corporations.Individual donations are gratefully accepted by the Dublin AM Charitable Foundation.
