Events organized by Marilyn Jones aka Emily Carr Chronicler, of James Bay, Victoria, BC, the same neighbourhood where the renowned painter and writer Emily Carr was born, lived, and died. I reside just two blocks from Carr House, her beautifully restored provincial and national historic site, three blocks from her (and my) beloved Beacon Hill Park, one of downtown Victoria’s crown jewels, and four blocks from the Royal BC Museum, which houses most of Emily's sketches, paintings, journals, and archives. Aren't I lucky?
