Located at RAMP/Ocean Studios, Barton’s Print Room is a dedicated Intaglio printmaking studio founded by artist Barton Hargreaves. The studio is both a creative workspace and a teaching environment designed to share the rich tradition and contemporary potential of printmaking.The studio houses two professional etching presses:A Bewick and Wilson press (bed size 61cm x 130cm)A Polymetaal JW100 (bed size 100cm x 200cm) — one of the largest presses in DevonWe are fully equipped for copper and aluminium etching, using traditional roll-up grounds in combination with spray aquatint.
