Before embarking on her coaching journey, Sophia dedicated 20 years of her career to the corporate sector in Finance, Accounting, Strategy, and Organizational Development. During her tenure, Sophia served as the Chief Financial Officer of Walker and Company Brands Company, a P&G subsidiary, and as the Chief Financial Officer of a $5 Billion business unit and Vice President of Financial Transformation at Kraft Heinz.Sophia has a BBA from Clayton State University, an MBA from Purdue University, and a Nonprofit Leadership executive certificate from Harvard Kennedy School. She holds certifications and credentials from prestigious coaching institutions: the International Coaching Federation, Coach Diversity Institute, Team Coaching Global Alliance, and Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder-Centered Coaching Center. She is a mentor coach. She is a Gallup CliftonStrengths Coach (TM), Hogan Assessment coach, and a bilingual certified trainer for LeaderFactor’s Four Stages of Psychological Safety (TM). She is also a certified team coach by Team Coaching Global Alliance.Sophia is based in Atlanta, GA, USA, and was born and raised in Malaysia.Sophia is passionate about giving back to the community at the local, national, and global levels. She contributes 15% to 20% of her time volunteering in nonprofit organizations and alumni networks and is the founding board member of the global Purdue Asian Alumni Network. She is a global board director for the International Coaching Federation Professional Coaches organization and the board chair of Mothers Against Drunk Driving. She mentors and coaches students and early career professionals, leveraging her expertise and experience to pay forward.
