Brittany Johnson is a native of Atlanta, GA. She obtained her B.A. in Political Science from Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. She recently graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Ms. Johnson has worked in the legal field since the age of 13. Alongside her legal background, she has always had a passion for helping people. She has volunteered at numerous nonprofit organizations and has even taken to the streets of Atlanta to distribute meals, hygiene items, clothes, and a lot of love throughout the community.Ms. Johnson gained extensive experience in the nonprofit sector from a personal and professional standpoint. Brittany experienced a period of homelessness herself while obtaining her undergraduate degree. She persevered through a traumatic period in her life and managed to graduate from college on time. Brittany was compelled to help those who shared the same experience. After graduation, Brittany was hired as a case manager at a nonprofit organization, where she saw firsthand the discrepancies within the homeless community. The highlight of her career was when she was successful in providing stable housing and connecting homeless individuals to adequate services.Ms. Johnson has reentered into the nonprofit sector to finish the work she started, now as the Executive Director of Restoring One's Hope of Atlanta. Since creating a nonprofit, Brittany has started a clothing line, ROHA Apparel, LLC and Let's Talk Nonprofit Podcast. She has been on several radio stations and podcasts, telling her story and her humanitarian work in the community. Her goal is to work with men and women who have been diagnosed with a behavioral disorder. By marrying her passion with her work, she is inevitably the change she wants to see in restoring one's hope.
