Gospel Awakening Television Show is hosted by Debara Jenkins-Blackwell and Terence Tavarus Jenkins, an inspiring sister and brother team. Though the show was birthed in Clayton, NC, these two were born in Selma, NC and are two of eight children born of Mary Lee Burgess-Jenkins the late Harris Lee Jenkins, Sr. Terence started his television career March 1993 at WRAL-TV hosting a show that was then called, "Spiritual Awakening." Markham Chapel Baptist Church Mass Choir 3630 Old Chapel Hill Rd. Durham, NC was very first show Terence had ever hosted at WRAL. Later, January 5, 2020, Terence and his sister Debara would establish a tv show undergirded by Interstate Ministries in Clayton, NC where Terence is the pastor.
