Roseland Ceasefire Project Inc is a dedicated violence prevention nonprofit organization committed to fostering peace, unity, and safety within the Roseland community and surrounding south suburbs. Through outreach, education, and advocacy, Roseland Ceasefire works tirelessly to address the root causes of violence while empowering individuals to become agents of positive change.Our mission is to develop and deploy proven violence mitigation techniques and actions to stop and/or reduce violence of all kinds in our community & improve overall community wellness through education, social advocacy, and philanthropy.The organization hosts impactful events such as community meetings and cultural gatherings that promote nonviolence, educate residents, and provide vital resources for those affected by gun violence. From youth mentorship programs to citywide peace rallies, Roseland Ceasefire engages with people of all ages, reinforcing the message that violence is not the answer.By partnering with local leaders, schools, and law enforcement, Roseland Ceasefire strengthens community bonds and creates lasting solutions that drive meaningful change.
