As signified by the Rotary motto "Service Above Self", Granville Rotary Club's main objective is service - in the community, in the workplace and throughout the world.For over 60 years, Granville Rotary has provided humanitarian service, encouraged high ethical standards in all vocations, and helped build goodwill and peace in the world through its many service projects.  We have 80 dedicated members who care about our community and wish to enhance not only this area's quality of life, but the lives of those in need the world over.The Granville Rotary Foundation supports scholarships and service projects both locally and internationally as well as the great work of Rotary International to improve the lives of all the world's citizens through promoting peace, preventing diseases, providing access to clean water and sanitation, enhancing maternal and child health, improving basic education and literacy, and helping communities develop.The Granville Rotary Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, currently supports these projects and other emerging opportunities and needs:Four college scholarshipsEthics and Leadership Conference for area HS StudentsHigh School and Middle School Students of the MonthJunior Achievement Biz Town for GHS 5th gradersFamilies Helping Families – holiday seasonEradicating polio worldwideFood Pantry Network of Licking CountyBook donations to Granville Public LibraryGranville Rec District’s Concerts on the GreenInbound and outbound international exchange studentsDisaster relief through Shelterbox and other avenuesInternational projects including playground equipment for a Peruvianspecial needs school and most recently eight water wells in HaitiCommunity Shred-It DayRed Cross Community Blood Drives
