Teaching people how to run is the conduit for buildingfaith,resilienceandrelationship, saving lives and creating suicide safer communities.We believe in educating communities in suicide prevention and awareness. Perhaps due to stigma and myths surrounding suicide, society in general and churches in particular have avoided talking about mental health, especially around suicide. Education and training can overcome those myths. AftersafeTALKtraining, 94% of people feel well or mostly prepared to help someone who might be struggling with thoughts of suicide.In the UK, one person dies by suicide every two hours, and yet suicide can be prevented. For every suicide, there are an estimated 20 attempts, and many more who struggle with thoughts of suicide.
