The ECA is a registered charity with a mission to preserve and protect the escarpment and nature in South Georgian Bay. The Niagara Escarpment is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and part of the Greenbelt. Our vision is to create an ecological corridor network stretching between Creemore to Meaford and Markdale. This 500 square kilometre area would include the escarpment along Georgian Bay, would connect Castle Glen and Pretty River Provincial Park to the Kolapore Uplands, and all of the beautiful Beaver Valley. To achieve this the ECA is advocating against inappropriate megadevelopments at Castle Glen and Talisman.
