Sasha Tease is a drag performer, community organizer and educator based out of Waterloo region. They have spent the past two years working to invigorate the local queer community by hosting queer events, producing drag shows and workshops, teaching dance classes, and facilitating queer sports drop ins. Through this work they have collaborated with many local organizations and businesses, most notably AOK, Spectrum, Tri-Pride, Ok2BMe, The City of Kitchener, The Registry Theatre, KWfamous, The Walper, Apollo Cinema, Laurier & Waterloo Universities, Conestoga College, Witch & Wellness Market, The Community Edition, Pat the Dog, Pinch Cabaret, and numerous others. Sasha is passionate about this work as they believe providing access to arts and community leads to a healthier society.Sasha Tease proudly refers to themself as the nonbinary bombshell, as they are on a mission to blow up gender norms and beauty standards. They are dedicated to challenging the status quo of popular culture but also the status quo within the drag community. Sasha’s drag is deeply rooted in feminism and body positivity and she aims to inspire every audience member to love themselves deeply and unconditionally.
