I'm a freelance photographer and corporate filmmaker based in Glasgow. I started the group that became known as the SCN (Scottish Creative Network) way back in 2009-ish. We met up monthly for well over a decade but haven't been so active in recent years - so it's time to reboot, refresh and rebuild our connections with the local creative community. I believe enormously in getting out and meeting people in your field to connect, collaborate with and talk shop. Many creatives see networking with peers as 'the competition' and I find that couldn't be further from the truth. The power in your network is in the connections to your peers and the people who think and live in your creative spaces.
