Sequoia Riverlands Trust is a non-profit regional land trust based in Tulare County, California. With a mission to conserve the lands and waters of California's heartland, we work with a variety of community members, stakeholders, farmers, ranchers, businesses, and local agencies to protect agricultural and natural spaces across the region. Over the past 20+ years, we have conserved over 43,000 acres of land across 7 counties. Over 4,000 acres of that land is permanently protected as private nature preserves owned by SRT. We work hard to manage these lands with sustainable, regenerative practices to restore and protect the natural habitat and species that live on the land. We also work to provide public access to these natural spaces. Our volunteer days provide opportunities for the local community to engage with these beautiful spaces and give back to their local environment through hands-on restoration and land management work.
