Prosperity Grange was organized in 1909 in the Steamboat/Griffin area west of Olympia, WA formerly known as Schneiders Prairie. Early Grangers were instrumental in building the community, hosting many different types of events to serve the community and also provide entertainment. The first Grange hall burned in 1928, and the current Grange hall was built in 1930. Historically, Grange is associated with farming, homesteading & home arts activities, as well as providing non-partisan civic engagement, and Grange continues to provide and support a variety of community projects, personal development opportunities, and more. Membership in Prosperity Grange is open to anyone in the Steamboat/Griffin area - ask us how to join! If you're not in our area - there might be a Grange near you - ask us how to find it!
