Hi, I’m Minky—potter, recovering non-perfectionist, mother of three wonderful young men (plus one husband and two overly affectionate small dogs) and the heart behind Minky’s Pottery in sunny Perth, Western Australia.I first fell in love with clay years ago, studying pottery before trading my wheel for Lego sets, lunchboxes and life across three countries. After dodging Lego mines, crossing deserts and oceans (and perfecting the art of sneaking chocolate in peace) I’ve found my way back to my first love: mud.These days, you’ll find me in my cozy home studio—where slippers are welcome, tea is always brewing and wine is the first miracle—offering intimate workshops that are all about joy, creativity and making beautiful messes. Whether you're a complete beginner or just need a reminder of which end of the clay to squish, come ready to laugh, get messy and create something worth keeping.
