We are an incorporated not for profit organisation. We have been operating at our current location of 42 Albany Hwy, Mount Barker since sometime after 1987. The Shire of Plantagenet acquired the building, Mitchell House, in 1986 and added a kitchen, bathroom/toilet, and a long extension on the rear of the building which was then used by the potters group and the rest of the group moved into the space in 1987.Mitchell House is accessed by members and visitors 5 days a week for most of the year. (Closed over Christmas and New year) and there are groups accessing the building for studio work and learning three days a week.We are currently staffed by volunteers and the Board is all volunteer based.You can contact us on mitchellhse21@gmail.com or drop into the centre Tues, Thurs, Saturday, or Sunday.
